For a major international project a client made contact with Ceilidh to investigate the possibility to manufacture a rotational downspuit for the even distribution of grain material in a large pressure vessel.
Using silicium carbide coated tubes, manufactured with custom end pieces over male moulds, it was possible to develop a system strong enough to support the rotational requirements, but wear resistant enough to suit the requirements, and remaining light enough for safe usage by the operators. Even the request for a stable integrated dust extraction connection was simple realised in carbon.
Ceilidh supplied the principle construction drawings and assembly of the system for initial testing in Rotterdam prior to implementation on location.
